With the new format „Salam Club”, Salam Music is expanding its program for the first time to include a club night. In collaboration with the organizers of the legendary Sahra Parties in Berlin, international DJs will explore the boundaries between musical traditions and contemporary club culture, filling the dance floor with genre-crossing sounds.

ABADIR

ABADIR is a music producer, sound designer, DJ, and music critic. Born in Cairo, he is currently based in Berlin, performing at festivals and clubs across Europe, including Roskilde, Rewire, Unsound, Lost Music, and Insomnia. His work spans a wide stylistic spectrum, combining cinematic, club, and ambient music. His artistic concepts explore themes inspired by fiction, memory, and cultural artifacts. His creative practice also extends to academia, music criticism, and critical theory. He holds a master's degree in Digital Media from the University of the Arts Bremen and is the editor of the electronic music section at Ma3azef.

HIBA SALAMEH

Hiba Salameh is a music producer, filmmaker and DJ from Haifa. Touring around the world with her electrifying sets and being named by Mixmag as "one of the Palestinian DJs you need to know". Never accepting borders, she continuously challenges music genres to create unique sensual experiences while bonding music traditions rooted in the past with their contemporary reflections. In her eclectic DJ Sets, Hiba loves to navigate through the wide universe of electronic music blending the huge heritage of Arabic music with its counterparts from the planet’s southern hemisphere.

ALIAS SHAY

Resident DJ at Sahra Berlin, Alias Shay is a queer Tunisian DJ, producer, and community organizer. They are deeply embedded in the electronic music scene, viewing it as inherently political, and dedicating themselves to creating spaces for the SWANA community. Their sets are strongly shaped by their deep connection to their culture and roots, blending genres from Pop to breaks, bass to deconstructed, and hip-hop, resulting in a multi-layered musical experience.

MUNSEF

Munsef is no stranger to Arabic electronic music. As a music producer, he has crafted a distinct sound that bridges the rich textures of SWANA music with modern electronic beats. Now, bringing this sonic identity to the DJ booth, Munsef seamlessly blends deep basslines, hypnotic rhythms, and familiar Arabic sounds, creating an electrifying mix that transforms the dancefloor into a space where tradition and innovation collide.
