The Vienna-based singer, composer, and tanbur player is a regular presence both on stage and in the audience at Salam Music. It is a true pleasure for us to collaborate with Omid Darvish to create an exciting music program for the next festival edition.
His musical vision is deeply rooted in Iranian folk music, especially Kurdish traditions, which he innovatively fuses with contemporary genres like jazz, electronic music, and metal. Through his internationally successful projects HUUUM and Kurdophone, he creates extraordinary new soundscapes by merging diverse musical worlds.
